Mardi Gras 2002 - part one
Mardi Gras in Lafayette, La. - 2-12-02
My mommie and aunt Tasha took me and her nephew, my friend, Austin to Mardi Gras this year and we had fun! We also got a little sun as well!

Mardi Gras King
Usually, in parades, there's a point where the king of that year's Mardi Gras stops and makes a toast. Well, we were standing right at the same place he does it! It was cool to be there because alot of the bands stopped to play there and the dancers danced there, but, the bad part was that they weren't throwing us anything on our side of the road:( We were later told that the best place to be is at the end of the parade route. |
